Canton Vineyard Wedding
– Lindsey and RJ first met when she walked into R.J.’s Martial Arts School to give it a try, and after four years of dating R.J. had the perfect proposal. As they walked on the beach at Hilton Head Island, RJ brought Lindsey’s attention to dogs frolicking in the ocean and while she watched them play in the water, R.J. secretly placed a seashell in the sand. When she discovered the beautifully decorated shell, Lindsey was in shock to read the phrase, “will you marry me?”. Lindsey keeps the special seashell close by as a constant reminder of how thoughtful he was with the proposal…and with everything!
When it came time to begin planning and choose their venue, Gervasi Vineyard was an easy and immediate decision. This beautiful Canton venue gave Lindsey and RJ everything they wanted on their wedding day – from the sun kissed vineyards and views, to the Tuscan architecture, ambiance and cuisine. For her decor, Lindsey chose a black and pink color palette with a perfect combination of pink Stargazer lilies, roses, and hydrangeas for her flowers. The bouquets were full with the same luscious, colorful flowers with the pink Stargazer lily being the focal point.
Lindsey’s gown was an ethereal blush pink and immediately brought to mind a modern day princess. Her dress had gorgeous and intricate beading on the V-neck bodice while the ball gown skirt was simple and classy with a longer train that continued the beading from the bodice back of the dress. The longer veil (as long as the train) had gorgeous and intricate beading all the way around, starting at midriff length from one side to the next. Lindsey chose this look because she wanted to be comfortable and able to move in her dress while looking beautiful in the slender form-fitting bodice and flowing gown.
The cake was yet another special part of this Canton vineyard wedding. Lindsey and RJ were able to pull their favorites together and get both German chocolate cake and white almond with raspberry filling. Each plate had a piece of chocolate with coconut toasted almonds or chocolate with a raspberry on top, depending on the type of cake chosen. The cake design itself was simple yet classy with fresh flower accents. For her dessert table, Lindsey chose a variety of doughnuts and sushi cupcakes. Everything was unique and vibrant yet elegant and beautiful. Just like something out of a fairy tale!!
Thank you Lindsey and RJ for sharing your beautiful day with us! Congratulations!
