~ Outdoor Vineyard Wedding ~
Inspired by a trip to the beautiful Napa Valley, Julie and Kevin’s vineyard wedding came to life on the grounds of Canton’s own Gervasi Vineyard. The estate provided the setting for both the ceremony and reception, offering breathtaking views of the grounds outdoors. One hundred of Julie and Kevin’s closest friends and family members attended their special day to witness the love they share.
The bride wore a classic mermaid-style gown with a high neckline and a low, beaded back. Accents on the shoulders complemented the tulle at the bottom to give a trendy and romantic feel. Julie chose this dress because it was a seamless blend of sophistication and timelessness, while still allowing her to feel like a princess (which matches her personal style perfectly!). The bride’s mother made her veil, which looked right at home in Julie’s stylish updo. The groom wore a navy suit with a burgundy bowtie and multicolored boutonniere of roses. The groomsmen sported similar navy suits with a single red rose on their boutonnieres. Across the aisle, the bridesmaids wore burgundy, full-length gowns in a variety of styles. The bridal bouquets featured shades of red, pink, and peach roses, along with soft greenery to bring the look together.
Following the ceremony outside, guests moved to The Pavilion for the reception. Rustic touches in the décor continued the vineyard theme. Lanterns surrounded by florals and greenery decorated the tables, and corks, barrels, and candles were used throughout the venue. Each guest table was named after a vineyard that Julie and Kevin had visited together, emphasizing their love of travel. The seating chart backdrop was created using actual corks collected by the couple. Each cork had a date and event on it from when and where Julie and Kevin drank the wine. Table settings integrated a gold and burgundy color scheme, to round off the rustic feel. A ‘naked’ cake, decorated with flowers and a gold ‘M’, gave guests a sweet treat, in addition to other assorted desserts.
Julie and Kevin wanted to create a lively and interactive vibe for their wedding, while maintaining a feeling of elegance. Their rustic vineyard theme was present throughout the day, and came to life in their photos. It was important to the couple to receive wedding pictures that showed the natural moments of their day. Getting ready with the flower girl, chatting with the bridal party, and dancing at the reception were just some of the charming, candid moments that were captured. The stunning landscapes of Gervasi provided a scene for some truly amazing photos.
Thank you Kevin and Julie for sharing your beautiful day with us! Congratulations!
