~ Northeast Ohio Wedding ~
Sarah and Brian are two high school sweethearts that have been inseparable for the last 7 years and 7 months. Prom, playing in the band together, attending college together, vacations, time with family and friends – they have enjoyed every day with the excitement and fun of that first special date. Sarah and Brian have a love that is never waning and when we met them, it was apparent how much they enjoy each and every moment with one another.
Just prior to their college graduation, Brian surprised Sarah with his proposal. At the end of a perfect day together, while watching a fireworks finale from the balcony of his apartment, Brian asked Sarah to spend the rest of her life with him. After getting over some of the shock, Sarah was stunned to see that Brian had picked out her dream ring (see the gorgeous cushion cut diamond ring below!).
For their wedding day, they both envisioned a romantic and classy party with a fun atmosphere that included personal and significant elements. The wedding took place during Sarah’s favorite month with a color palette that included purple, her favorite color. Each bridesmaid wore a flowing full-length eggplant-colored gown and, the girls and Sarah carried loose and flowing bouquets of roses, hydrangeas, seeded eucalyptus and eggplant calla lilies, with purple dahlias and ranunculus for pops of color.
Because Sarah and Brian wanted the ceremony to truly reflect their love, they wrote their own vows – picking out each and every word. They wanted their guests to understand and feel the love that they have for one another. And when Sarah picked out her wedding gown (a stunning ethereal gown with a moscato colored tulle draped with ivory boho lace), she could only think of Brian’s reaction. Brian was beaming and Sarah was holding back her tears as she walked down the aisle.
The reception was stylish with their favorite jazz songs during the cocktail hour and dinner (something they both love and a nod to Brian’s years playing the trumpet). The tables were set with tall centerpieces filled with hydrangeas and because the couple loves cake, they had a 4-tiered cake with multiple flavors – chocolate with raspberry filling, almond, and strawberry cake. But most of all, this reception was fun!! The open bar included awesome signature drinks and because this group really knows how to let loose and dance, they included pizza and a popcorn bar for a late night snack.
Thank you Sarah & Brian for sharing your beautiful day with us! Congratulations!
