~Dani & Ben’s Gish Barn Wedding~

The saying goes “beauty is only skin deep” and this is true for most of us. But Ben and Dani were the exception, a beautiful couple throughout – kind, thoughtful and gracious. When we arrived, Dani greeted us both at the door with a huge hug and offers of food and refreshment. She was bubbling over with excitement and anticipation for the moment when she would become Ben’s wife.

After finishing up with hair and makeup, Dani put on her jewelry, which included a stunning classic round brilliant cut engagement ring complemented by a diamond necklace and earrings. For her gown, Dani chose a unique custom ensemble that included a curve-hugging lace mermaid gown and a soft tulle skirt in pale pink. The romantic lace of the gown was accented by a beautiful cathedral length lace wedding veil.
Dani’s bridesmaids wore mix and match gowns in shades of lilac and lavender floral print. Each girl, along with Dani, carried a wedding bouquet with lavender and pink garden roses. For the groomsmen, the couple selected grey 3-piece suits with purple accents.

The ceremony took place at the romantic and casual Gish Barn in Rittman, Ohio. Dani’s father escorted her through the double doors that led her down the path to a wedding alter draped in roses. When Ben saw Dani walking towards him down the aisle, he could not contain his emotion. Lots of laughter and tears followed along with a tying of the knot.

Both inside and outside the barn, Dani and Ben had prepared a fun-filled party for their friends and family. Dani’s casual and romantic style was present throughout the barn with lace, romantic lighting, china, and florals. For a guest book, the cute couple used a Jack Daniels whiskey barrel and a window pane seating chart helped guests find their tables. A birch tree wedding cake and dessert table kept with the casual and natural theme.

With the cool night air, the couple decided to take their first dance outside the barn where they could share the moment with all their friends and family outside on the lawn. This was followed up by some fun at the handmade photo booth, dancing and a special Michael Jackson “Thriller” performance by Scott of His N Hers Wedding Service.
