~ Whetstone Center Wedding ~

Nestled in a scenic cove in Louisville OH sits The Whetstone Center, the venue of choice for Miranda and Joel. The couple, lovers of the outdoors, selected The Whetstone Center for it’s woods, fields, vineyards, and ponds. The venue itself inspired the look for the wedding and décor; Miranda couldn’t have imagined anything else!

On the day of their wedding Miranda wore an elegant gown with lace detail and beading, and a veil pinned in her soft updo. The bride’s maiden name was sewn into the inside of her dress, a small but special detail she wanted to include. Miranda’s bouquet featured an abundance of white and light pink flowers in a bed of assorted greens. Her bridesmaids wore black dresses with sheer necklines and had bouquets to match Miranda’s. Joel wore a black suit with a cream vest and tie, while his groomsmen matched the bridesmaids with black accents. The men sported white rose boutonnieres.

Following the ceremony Miranda and Joel’s guests moved to the reception area, which was decorated in classic white décor. Friends and family could sign the couple’s guest book with the pen used at Miranda’s parent’s wedding. Centerpieces on the table displayed white flowers and eucalyptus surrounding lanterns. A two-tiered cream cake with flowers was cut by the couple with a cake cutter that was also used by Miranda’s parents at their wedding. Miranda envisioned an evening of elegance mixed with a formal, sophisticated look, and everything came together beautifully.
